Severe cyanosis (blue-gray skin color with a hint of slate) can be held longer than other symptoms.In severe intoxication - toxic hepatitis, a sharp increase in blood viscosity, high levels of methemoglobin in the blood, erythrocytes with Heinz calves (60-80%).Perhaps mental stimulation.
Chronic poisoning (chronic anilizm)
Complaints: headaches, sometimes paroxysmal character, dizziness, especially when changing body position, sleep disturbances, pain in the liver and epigastric, intolerance to fatty foods, unstable chair.There may be frequent and painful urination.
Objectively: icteric or bluish color of the skin, swelling of the face, vegetative-vascular dystonia or neurasthenic syndrome, may be slight mental disorders (decrease in intelligence, memory disorders, apathy), gastritis, hepatitis.Frequent dermatitis in the armpits and groin folds.
Early signs: tendency to increase the amount of hemoglobin and red blood cells, polihromaziya, Anisocytosis, poikilocytosis, calf
Aniline and cancer
Workers aniline industry observed bladder tumors: benign (papillomas) and malignant (carcinoma).Early symptoms include a frequent urge to urinate, pain and burning sensation at last, hematuria.Cystoscopy in the triangle area of the bladder are sometimes found bleeding and then neoplasms.In most cases, cancer develops after 11 or more years of work, but in rare cases - in earlier periods (2-3 years).It was established that the bladder itself is not responsible aniline in cancer development, but primarily beta-naphthylamine, benzidine, and possibly other aromatic amine compounds that have a carcinogenic effect.
